EACN was created from a deep desire to bring together Eritrean Americans in Houston and beyond. Our story is one of perseverance and dedication—honoring our past while forging a brighter future through education, recreation, and social support. Each connection we make is a step toward a stronger community.

To enrich the lives of our members through education, recreation, and social services. We proudly serve all Eritreans in Houston and its surroundings, welcoming everyone regardless of political, cultural, or religious affiliations.

OUR CORE OBJECTIVES

SUPPORTING YOUTH & EDUCATION

Provide language classes, mentoring, tutoring, and sports programs to help our youth excel both academically and athletically.

IMMIGRANT & REFUGEE ASSISTANCE

Offer mentoring, translation, and guidance to new arrivals while assisting with legal processes such as green card or citizenship applications.

ADVOCACY & HUMAN RIGHTS

Work with organizations focused on justice and human rights to ensure all Eritreans in our community are treated fairly.

CULTURAL CELEBRATIONS

Organize festivals, art exhibits, and events that preserve and celebrate our unique traditions while fostering a sense of belonging.
